All Legacy Shadowbox frames and display cases are custom made, using hand-selected materials for the best-quality finish and one-of-a-kind results. These are heirloom peices made one at a time, not a cookie-cutter production.
Legacy Shadowboxes was born when Patrick Olson was searching for a way to honor his friend and longtime co-worker upon his retirement. Dissatisfied with the usual uninspired plaque handed out at the cake-and-coffee goodbye, he decided to put his woodworking skills to use and create his first law-enforcement themed shadowbox; using badges, patches, awards and mementos.
As others retired over the years, fellow officers came to anticipate one of these beautifully hand-crafted tributes to their service. As demand has expanded, so has Pat's creativity and ability to custom-build boxes to hold service guns, certificates of valor, flags, uniforms and hats, and basically anything you can think of to honor a career of public safety or military service.
Pat has been in law enforcement for 27 years. He expects to build his own shadowbox very soon.
